Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Einstellen des GammaWerts
Sie können den Gamma-Wert, der im ImageDirectorFenster am Computerbildschirm angezeigt wird, mit der Maus ändern. Das ImageDirector-Fenster ist unten abgebildet.

4 Setting (Einstellung) Optionsfelder R/G/B: Zum Auswählen der einzustellenden Farben. Schaltfläche SMOOTH: Zum Glätten der Gamma-Kurve. Schaltfläche UNDO/REDO: Klicken Sie auf [UNDO], um eine gerade vorgenommene Einstellung rückgängig zu machen. Die Schaltfläche wechselt daraufhin zu [REDO]. Wenn Sie auf [REDO] klicken, wird die gerade rückgängig gemachte Einstellung erneut angewendet. Die Schaltfläche wechselt zurück zu [UNDO].
Hinweis
Nachdem Sie die Einstelldaten mit der Schaltfläche [SEND] 8 an den Projektor übertragen haben, können Sie nicht mehr mit [UNDO] zur vorherigen Einstellung zurückschalten. 5 Anschlu�name Hier wird der Name des COM-Anschlusses angezeigt, mit dem der Projektor verbunden ist. 6 Statusleiste Hier wird die aktuelle Position des Einstellpunkts als numerischer Wert angezeigt. 7 Schaltfläche RESET Zum Zurücksetzen des Gamma-Werts des Projektors auf die werkseitige Einstellung.

8 Schaltfläche SEND Zum �bertragen des eingestellten Gamma-Werts an den Projektor. Gehen Sie zum Einstellen des Gamma-Werts wie unten erläutert vor.
Hinweise
1 Menü [FILE] Zum Speichern bzw. Abrufen des Gamma-Werts bzw. zum Beenden von ImageDirector. 2 Menü [HELP] Zum Aufrufen der Hilfe. 3 Gamma-Kurvenbild Zum Einstellen des Gamma-Werts. Ziehen Sie dazu den Einstellpunkt 1 mit der Maus.
Hinweis
� Speisen Sie zum Einstellen des Gamma-Werts ein Graustufensignal mit erkennbaren Stufen zwischen schwarz (0 %) und wei� (80 %) ein, und setzen Sie die Einstellung KONTRAST im Menü EINST.BILD auf den Maximalwert und die Einstellung HELLIGK im Menü EINST.BILD auf 50. � Lösen Sie das Kabel nicht, und schalten Sie auch den Projektor und den Computer nicht aus, solange der Gamma-Wert eingestellt wird. Andernfalls werden die im Projektor gespeicherten Daten möglicherweise beschädigt.
Der graue Bereich 3 rechts neben dem GammaKurvenbild liegt au�erhalb des Einstellbereichs. Sie können den Gamma-Wert nur im zulässigen Bereich 2 einstellen.
