Making calls

1 Pick up the handset from the
base unit.

2 Press (TALK) and wait until

âTALKâ appears on the display. The display also shows the operation duration in hours, minutes and seconds. You will then hear a dial tone. The LINE lamp on the base unit lights up. If âCHANNEL SEARCHINGâ appears on the display, move closer to the base unit.

VOL switch


3 Dial the phone number. 4 When youâre done talking, press
(OFF) or replace the handset on the base unit. The display and the LINE lamp on the base unit go off.

Additional tasks
To Do this Adjust the handset volume Set the VOL switch to H (high), M (middle) or L (low). Switch to tone dialing temporarily Press (*TONE) after youâre connected. The line will remain in tone dialing until disconnected.
