Excellent just what I needed to replace the electrolytic caps and make this old gem a beauty again. Was as scan of the original photocopied service manual.
It was helpful to get schematic with waveforms in important points and lot of service information. Manual is good quality, fast delivered. Of course it is hardcopy of paper one with all its disadvantages.
I want to give you a real heads-up for your desire to enable such people as I to acquire the information I need to maintain the older types of equipment such as this Akai HXA351W. You do a swell job with all the processes you have to perform so I can have a legible, thus usable
document which does not send me crazy trying to figure out the blurry text of a bad copy.

HANDSET SECTION
MANUAL TEST MODE Set the Test Mode: 1. Enter the test mode by pressing key while pressing 1 and TALK keys when in idle condition. (Key operation n 1 n TALK ) 2. The RINGER will ring for 1 sec when the test mode is started. 3. Measurement mode of consumption current. (ch=01 state) 4. Use key input to carry out the various settings. 5. Use port inputs to set output from LED terminals. Release the Test Mode: 1. Press the OFF key. 2. Turn off the power. (Remove the battery and replace them.)
MACHINE TEST MODE Set the Test Mode: 1. When power on reset is applied while a �L� (low) is input the TEST I/O (TP316) terminal (IC401 #§ pin), the RING (Level H, 1 sec) sounds. 2. Checking the CH No. displayed on the LCD, up or down the JOG dial and select the No. It can be set by pushing the JOG dial. (�?� appears at the suffix No. is determined.) 3. Set the TX setting to TX OFF. 4. The channel is set by voice not by data. 5. Use port inputs to set output from LED terminals. Release the Test Mode: 1. Press the OFF key. 2. Remove the short plug and turn on the power.
