AUDIO POWER SPECIFICATIONS
POWER OUTPUT AND TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION: with 8 ohm loads, from 28 - 200 Hz; rated 50 watts per channel minimum RMS power, with no more than 0.8% total harmonic distortion from 250 milliwatts to rated output.

Set the center speaker firmly on top of the TV set, making sure it is completely level.
For Speakers There is no sound from the speaker system. â¢Make sure all the connections have been correctly made. â¢Make sure the volume on the amplifier has been turned up properly. â¢Make sure the program source selector on the amplifier is set to the proper source. â¢Check if headphones are connected. If they are, disconnect them. There is distortion in the subwoofer sound output. â¢Check if any sound-enhancing functions have been activated on the amplifier. If they have, turn them off. There is hum or noise in the speaker output. â¢Make sure all the connections have been correctly made. â¢Make sure none of the audio components are positioned too close to the TV set. The sound has suddenly stopped. â¢Make sure all the connections have been correctly made. Contact between bare speaker wires at the speaker terminals may cause a short-circuit. For Subwoofer (SA-WMSP1) Thereâs no sound. â¢Check that this woofer and components are connected correctly and securely. â¢Turn LEVEL clockwise to turn the volume up. â¢Reset the level. The sound is distorted. â¢The input signal is imperfect. â¢The input signal level is too high.
Turn on the amplifier and select the program source.

Setting the subwoofer (SA-WMSP1)
Since the human ear cannot detect the direction and position where the bass sound being reproduced by a woofer (below 200 Hz) comes from, you can install the woofer wherever you like in your room. To obtain a better bass reproduction, we recommend you to install the woofer on a solid floor where the resonance is
Press POWER (?/1). The woofer turns on and the POWER indicator lights up in green.
You can adjust the sound of the subwoofer to suit the sound of your front speakers. Reinforcing the bass sound gives you a greater sense of atmosphere.

unlikely to occur. To prevent speaker vibration or movement while listening, attach the supplied foot pads to the subwoofer.
Play the program source. Adjust the VOLUME so that sound from the front speakers is not distorted. If it is distorted, the sound from the woofer will also be distorted.
Adjust the volume level of the woofer
Turn the LEVEL control so that you can hear the bass sound a little more than before. To increase the volume, turn the control clockwise. To decrease the volume, turn the control counterclockwise.
⢠If the sound distorts when you turn on the bass reinforcement from your amplifier (such as, DBFB, GROOVE, the graphic equalizer, etc.), turn off the bass reinforcement and adjust the sound. ⢠Do not turn the volume of the woofer to maximum. Doing so may weaken the bass sound. Moreover, extraneous noise may be heard.

⢠Never set the amplifierâs tone control (BASS, TREBLE, etc.) or the equalizer output to a high level or input sinewaves of 20 Hz to 50 Hz recorded on a commercially-available test disc or special sound (bass sound of electronic musical instrument, pop noise of analog disc turntable, sound with abnormally enhanced bass, etc.) in a high level to this unit. These actions may cause damage to the speakers. When a special disc containing abnormally enhanced bass is played, noise may be output in addition to the original sound. In such a case, decrease the sound level. ⢠The subwoofer output signal (DOLBY digital (AC-3) signal) of the digital surround processor sold singularly is set 10 dB higher by Dolby laboratories Licensing Corporation. In the case of using normally, adjust the subwoofer level.
⢠Always install the woofer vertically, keeping a few centimeters from away the wall. ⢠Do not place an object on the woofer or sit on it. ⢠If the woofer is installed in the center of a room, the bass could be extremely weakened. This is due to the influence of the standing wave of the room. If this happened, move the woofer away from the center of a room or eliminate the cause of the standing wave, by installing a bookshelf on the wall, etc.
Location of each speaker
Each speaker should face the listening position. Better surround effect will result if all speakers are set at the same distance from the listening position. Place the front speakers at a suitable distance to the left and right of the television. Place the subwoofer on either side of the television. Place the center speaker on the top-center of the TV set. The placement of rear speakers greatly depends on the configuration of the room. The rear speakers may be placed on both sides of the listening position A or behind the listening position B.
Setting other speakers
⢠Movies are best enjoyed in a room that produces no echoes (as in one with surrounding curtains). ⢠Music (especially classical music) is best enjoyed in a room that produces some echo.
WS-WV10A (for rear speakers)
Severe hum or noise is heard. â¢Connect the ground wire of the turntable properly. â¢The contacts between the plugs of the connecting cords and the corresponding jacks have not been made properly. Connect the plugs firmly. â¢The audio system is picking up some noise from a TV set. Move the audio system away from the TV set or turn the TV set off.
