The manual was complete and of great quality. Originally a tri-lingual file, I first received only one language. After a note to owners-manuals.com, I quickly received the remaining languages... Great service, definitely worth it.

The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.
Specifying the speaker parameters
Use the remote for the operation.
x LFE â¢ LFE *****: (0 dB) Level of the LFE (Low Frequency Effect) channel output. Range: OFF, â20 dB to 0 dB, 1 dB steps âOFFâ cuts the sound of the LFE channel. However, the low frequency sound of the speakers are output from the sub woofer. ââ20 dBâ to â0 dBâ settings allow you to attenuate the LFE signal. â0 dBâ outputs the full LFE signal at the mix level determined by the recording engineer. x D.COMP. â¢ D.COMP.: (STD) Dynamic range compression. Range: OFF, 0.1 to 0.9, STD, MAX âOFFâ does not compress the dynamic range. â0.1â to â0.9â settings allow you to compress the dynamic range in small steps. âSTDâ reproduces the sound track with the dynamic range intended by the recording engineer. âMAXâ provides a great compression of the dynamic range. x T.TONE (MHC-DP800AV only) â¢ T.TONE: (OFF) Test tone output. Range: OFF, ON âONâ outputs the test tone from each speaker in sequence. Adjust the LEVEL and BALANCE parameters so that the volume level of the test tone from each speaker sounds the same using the remote from your listening position. Select âOFFâ to turn off the test tone.
