The manual was complete and of great quality. Originally a tri-lingual file, I first received only one language. After a note to owners-manuals.com, I quickly received the remaining languages... Great service, definitely worth it.

The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.
Naming a Track or MD Using the Keyboard
You can easily enter or edit names.
Using the Edit Menu
Do the following to name a track or MD. â¢ To name a track or MD Press [Esc] while the recorder is stopped, playing or paused. â¢ To name a track during recording. Press [Esc} during recording. âEdit Menuâ appears in the display.
Short cut to the naming procedure
To give a name to a track or MD, do the following. â¢ To name a track Press Num Lock while the desired track number is displayed and the recorder is stopped, playing, paused or recording. â¢ To name a MD Press Num Lock when no track number is displayed and the recorder is stopped. A flashing cursor appears in the display, and the characters can be entered.
Press [â]/[â] or [Tab]/[Shift]+[Tab] repeatedly until âName?â appears, then press [Enter]. While the recorder is recording, a flashing cursor appears in the display, and you can enter a name for the track being recorded. In this case, please go to step 5. Press [â]/[â] or [Tab]/[Shift]+[Tab] repeatedly until âNm In?â appears, then press [Enter]. Press [â]/[â] or [Tab]/[Shift]+[Tab] repeatedly until the track number (when naming a track) appears or âDiscâ (when naming the MD) flashes, then press [Enter]. Characters can be entered. Enter the name. Press [Enter] or [Num Lock]. âComplete!â appears for a few seconds, and the naming is completed.

Operations you may wish to do while naming a track or MD To Cancel the operation Switch between uppercase and lowercase letters Operating the MD Recorder Using a Keyboard Press [Esc] [Caps Lock] (or hold down [Shift]* while entering letters for uppercase) [â] or [â] [Delete] [Back Space]
Move the cursor Erase the character at the cursor position Erase the character preceding the cursor
If you have assigned characters to keys using [Shift] (see page 62), the characters you assigned have priority.
z Undoing the naming of a track or MD 1 Press [F11] âName Undo?â appears. 2 Press [Enter]. Press [Esc] to cancel the operation.
