A great copy of the manual, and the only one I could find anywhere on the net! The circuit diagrams are easily readable, all component values marked and easy to see. A highly appreciated download!
The TEAC A-1500's Service Manual was instrumental in reviving this classic reel-to-reel. Not only does it have the schematics, exploded parts diagram and parts list, it also provided mechanical adjustment information that approximate factory default settings.

1-3. Cleaning
1-3-2. Fan
The temperature in the set increases if dust is attached to the opening block of a fan and the air flow is disturbed. This may badly influence the performance and life of the set. It is recommended to clean the fans every one month. (Fan of Front side) (1) Detach the front panel. (Refer to the section 1-2-1.) (2) Remove dust on the fan and the fan guard using a vacuum cleaner. (Fan of Upper and Lower side) (1) Pull out the fan tray from the unit. (Refer to steps 1 and 2 of �2. Replacement of Fan on the Top Side� in the section 1-5-1, or steps 1 through 4 of �3. Replacement of Fan on the Bottom Side� in the section 1-5-1. (2) Remove dust on the fan using a vacuum cleaner.
