Manual was complete and available promptly, since I had lost my original manual. Very good response.
Whilst this is a photo copy, and some of the pages are a little askew, it was all readable and intact. A real bonus finding an old manual for a classic piece of kit that no other site had.

Changing the recorded still image size (RESIZE)
â¢ The original image is retained even after resizing. â¢ You cannot change the size of images recorded in TEXT mode, moving images, uncompressed images, or Clip Motion images. â¢ The resized image is recorded as the newest file. â¢ If you resize an image, the remaining âMemory Stickâ capacity will be decreased. â¢ When you change from a small size to a large size, the picture quality deteriorates. â¢ If the remaining âMemory Stickâ capacity is not sufficient, you may not be able to resize an image. â¢ You cannot resize to an image of 3:2. â¢ When you resize a 3:2 image, the upper and lower black portions are displayed on the LCD screen.
You can change the image size of the recorded image.

Set the mode dial to , then display the image of which you want to change the size. Press MENU. The menu appears. Select [RESIZE] with b/B, then press z. Select the desired size with v/V, then press z. 1216Ã912, 1024Ã768, 640Ã480 The resized image is recorded.
To cancel changing the size Select [CANCEL] with v/V in step 4, then press z.
