Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

You can select an image recorded on the “Memory Stick” or PC card and print it in full-size (standard print).

Press AUTO PRINT to light ALL indicator for all the images or DPOF indicator for the preset images.


To print multiple images at a time
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to select other images and set print quantity for each of them.

When you connect your printer to the television
The number increases.

Operating Instructions – Basic Operations
Before operating this printer, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for future reference. This manual explains necessary preparations and basic operations for the printer. For advanced operations, refer to “Operating Instructions – Advanced Operations.” For using the supplied software and for additional infromation, refer to “Operating Instructions – Software Guide/Additional Information.”

Press PRINT.
Printing starts. During printing, the PRINT indicator lights and the printing process bar is displayed on the screen.

When you select All, all the images in the thumbnail list are displayed with the orange area beneath the image. When you select DPOF, the preset images are displayed with the orange area beneath the image.

Press PRINT.
Printing starts. When you select All, all the images on a “Memory Stick” or PC card are printed in the order of their image numbers. When you select DPOF, the preset images are printed in the order they have been preset.


To stop printing

Insert a “Memory Stick” or PC card on which you recorded images into the “Memory Stick” or PC card insertion slot. Turn on the printer and television and set the input selector of the television to “VIDEO.”
The POWER indicator lights in green.

Press CANCEL. Printing from the next print will be canceled.

When you press PRINT while the preview image is displayed

Printing from your computer
When you connect a computer that is powered on to the USB connector of the printer, the PC indicator lights and the printer enters the PC mode. Otherwise, you cannot switch to the PC mode manually by pressing the INPUT SELECT button. For how to install and operate the software, refer to the supplied “Operating Instructions – Software Guide/Additional Information.”

When multiple pages exist, you can switch pages. To display the next page, move the yellow frame to the bottom line of the image list and press v. To display to the previous page, move the yellow frame to the top line and press V.

Printing all the images or preset images

You can print all the images stored in a “Memory Stick” or PC card at one time. You can also print images preset by your digital still camera (DPOF) at one time. What is “DPOF”?
The “DPOF” is a format to record the information necessary for automatically printing images shot with a digital still camera at a printing shop or with a home-use printer. The printer can automatically print the preset number of copies of the images preset for printing with DPOF (Digital Print Order Format).

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. To cancel the selection
Move the yellow frame to the image you want to cancel and press CANCEL. The orange area turns gray and the selection is canceled.

To display a preview image
Move the yellow frame to the desired image, then press PICTURE. The preview of the selected image is displayed. To display the preview of the next image, press b. To display the preview of the previous image, press B. To display the image list again, press PICTURE.

Turn on the printer.
The POWER indicator lights in green.

To display the images on the screen
You can display and check the images to be printed on the screen. Connect the printer and the television and turn on the television. Then set the input selector of the television to “VIDEO.”

To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.
