Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
This manual is immaculate in it's accuracy. Everything is written very clearly and easy to understand. Written by a professional who wants to convey a clear and easy to understand message!!

Recording moving pictures on a â€śMemory Stickâ€ť â€“ MPEG MOVIE recording Self-timer MPEG MOVIE recording
You can record pictures on the â€śMemory Stickâ€ť with the self-timer. You can also use the Remote Commander for this operation.
(1) Set the POWER switch to MEMORY. (2) Press FN and go to PAGE2. (3) Press SELFTIMER. The (self-timer) indicator appears on the LCD screen. (4) Press EXIT to make PAGE2 disappear. (5) Press START/STOP. Self-timer starts counting down from about 10 with a beep. In the last two seconds of the countdown, the beep gets faster, then recording starts automatically.
To stop the countdown
Press START/STOP. To restart the countdown, press START/STOP again.
To cancel the self-timer recording
Press SELFTIMER in PAGE2 screen so that the (self-timer) indicator disappears on the LCD screen. You cannot cancel the self-timer recording using the Remote Commander. Note The self-timer recording mode is automatically canceled when: â€“ Self-timer recording is finished. â€“ You turn NIGHTSHOT/NIGHTFRAMING to the other position while the self-timer is counting down. â€“ The POWER switch is turned to the other position.
