This is one of four manuals I have downloaded recently.
Purchase was very straight forward and the authorising email arrived in about 4 hours.

Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Meaning To record in SP (Standard Play) mode To increase the recording time to twice the SP mode To automatically adjust the recording condition to get the best possible recording. Press START/STOP to start adjustment. Your camcorder takes about 10 seconds to check the tape condition and then returns to the standby mode.
ORC TO SET
ORC stands for �Optimizing the Recording Condition�. qREMAIN z AUTO To display the remaining tape bar: � for about 8 seconds after your camcorder is turned on and calculates the remaining amount of tape � for about 8 seconds after a cassette is inserted and your camcorder calculates the remaining amount of tape � for about 8 seconds after N is pressed in VTR (CCD-TRV87) or PLAYER (CCD-TRV17/TRV37/TRV57/TRV67) mode � for about 8 seconds after DISPLAY is pressed to display the screen indicators � for the period of tape rewinding, forwarding or picture search in the VTR (CCD-TRV87) or PLAYER (CCD-TRV17/TRV37/TRV57/ TRV67) mode To always display the remaining tape bar VTR/PLAYER CAMERA

Notes on the LP mode � When you record a tape in the LP mode on your camcorder, we recommend playing the tape on your camcorder. When you play back the tape on other camcorders or VCRs, noise may occur in pictures or sound. � Noise may occur also when you play on your camcorder tapes recorded in the LP mode on other camcorders or VCRs. � When you record a tape in the LP mode on your camcorder, recording is carried out in the standard 8 mm system. (CCD-TRV67/TRV87 only) Notes on ORC setting � Each time you eject the cassette, the ORC setting will be canceled. If necessary, reset the setting. � You cannot use this setting on a tape with the red mark on the cassette exposed. (i. e. the tape is write-protected) � When you set ORC TO SET, a non-recorded section of about 0.1 seconds appears on the tape. However, note that this non-recorded section disappears from the tape when you continue recording from this section. � To check if you have already set the ORC setting, select ORC TO SET in the menu settings. �ORC ON� is displayed if ORC TO SET is already set.
